Movie Night – 2019

March 9, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We’ll sit Zazen from 5:30 till 6:30 pm and then we will share a pot of soup. You are welcome to bring something to share, too.
The movie starts at 7:00pm and afterwards we have time for discussion.

  • This short 2018 Netflix documentary looks at end-of-life in our culture, and speaks with individuals and organizations who are seeking to change the way we approach life and death. The film interviews the Zen Hospice Project and their former director BJ Miller, and invites us to wonder how our culture deals with the great matters of life and death.

Meditation Schedule

Morning meditation is held in person and on Zoom on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at 7am ET. On Sunday through Tuesday it is on Zoom only. A liturgy chanting service follows meditation every Saturday (in person and on Zoom) and Sunday (on Zoom).

Evening meditation and Dharma Talk/Reflection held in person and on Zoom Wednesdays  5:30-6:30pm ET. 

All are welcome, no prior experience is needed, and there is no cost. Dana is welcome. Register here for the Zoom link to join us online.
